Position Overview: The Electronic Design Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing BAPI's Engineering Team by contributing to the innovative development of products that surpass customer expectations. The EDE will oversee all aspects of embedded hardware design, which includes technical assessment of product specifications, suggesting design alternatives, drafting functional specifications, schematic creation, PCB layout, hardware debugging, and verification testing, ensuring timely product release to manufacturing with adherence to cost targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Design HVAC/R products that deliver exceptional customer-focused solutions that meet and exceed specifications:
- Develop analog and digital circuits with a focus on precision and reliability across various operating conditions.
- Utilize software tools for circuit design and hardware development; document, save, display, and report necessary data.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to grasp workflow, design processes, budgets, and timelines.
- Create comprehensive electrical schematics and select suitable electronic components to fulfill requirements.
- Develop custom software and firmware for microcontrollers.
- Organize and manage detailed documentation effectively.
- Troubleshoot and debug both new and existing hardware/firmware.
- Conduct testing, verification, and validation of designs.
- Employ various testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, RF network analyzers, and logic analyzers.
Provide ongoing support to production and implement design modifications as necessary:
- Execute and implement design changes as per engineering change orders.
- Source materials and components that meet design specifications.
- Facilitate the timely progression of the product design and development cycle.
- Recommend enhancements for design or manufacturing processes.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, archives, and reports.
Stay updated with industry trends by participating in educational workshops, reviewing relevant publications, and building professional networks.
Contribute to team objectives by achieving related results as required, including special projects and tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
