Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of all entities involved in construction projects from design to closeout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Serve as a liaison to clients, communicate regularly, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Contract Management: Prepare various solicitations, contracts, agreements, and construction documentation associated with the contracting process.
  • Financial Management: Compile project financial data and prepare financial reports and analyses.
  • File Maintenance: Maintain master construction files for each project, including agreements, contracts, drawings, logs, and insurance certificates.
  • Agreement Management: Initiate, prepare, and maintain agreement forms for contractors and other professional service companies and/or regulatory agencies.
  • Collaboration: Work with contracted personnel, including labor compliance officers, inspectors, and other staff involved in construction projects.
  • Reporting: Assist with progress updates and informational notices.
  • System Development: Participate in the development and implementation of project reporting systems.
  • Software Utilization: Perform tasks using software related to budgeting and scheduling, including databases, automated accounting systems, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Review and Response: Maintain appropriate review of prevailing wage reports, contractor invoices, change orders, and/or work orders, respond to requests for certified payroll.
  • Representation: Occasionally represent the company in project meetings.
  • Documentation: Take meeting minutes as requested.
  • Public Records: Respond to public records requests.
Requirements
  • Experience: 4 or more years of experience in the maintenance of financial and contractual documentation for capital improvement/construction projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required.
