Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cultural resources investigations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including the Antiquities Code of Texas, National Historic Preservation Act, and National Environmental Policy Act.
  • Manage cultural resources projects from inception to completion, including writing project proposals, developing project cost estimates, and maintaining project records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, staff, and execute major CRM efforts in the South Central region and nationally.
  • Work under the direction of the South Central Cultural Resources Business Class Leader and Archaeology Program Lead to develop and implement CRM strategies.
  • Author cultural resource technical reports and supervise archaeological field technicians and crew chiefs in field and office settings.
  • Manage the production of professional-quality reports for NRHP and NEPA compliance.
  • Peer review draft reports and desktop background reviews produced by Project Archaeologists and other Principal Investigators.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 7 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to interact with various design teams, possess excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
