Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records and monitor vital signs using electronic medical record systems.
  • Supervise nursing personnel and address the needs of residents/patients effectively.
  • Coordinate daily nursing and administrative tasks, including medication management and patient education.
  • Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while mentoring new staff members.
  • Administer IV fluids and medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status and changes in care requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations and safety standards.
  • Document and maintain precise reports and records of patient care.
  • Identify and respond to emergencies with a calm and efficient approach.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current nursing license in the state of practice and CPR certification.
  • Prior nursing experience preferred unless enrolled in an approved Preceptor Program.
  • Strong leadership, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate demeanor with sound judgment and critical thinking abilities.
