Job Summary

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Hospital Sisters Health Systems (HSHS), you will play a vital role in administering radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures. You will process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology, providing images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation, processing the images for radiologist review.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures
• Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
• Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures
• Evaluate images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation
• Process the images for radiologist review

Requirements

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program
• 2 years of nuclear medicine technology experience is required
• Accreditation by IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety is required
• Certified as American Registry Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) required OR a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
