We are on the lookout for a skilled Warehouse Operations Leader to manage a variety of responsibilities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping within our facility. This pivotal role involves planning, directing, and coordinating storage and distribution activities effectively. You will be tasked with overseeing specific areas, managing operational functions, and fulfilling the duties typically assigned to a managerial position. Your leadership will ensure the consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures while supervising the administrative aspects of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to protocols for receiving, storing, and dispatching products and materials
  • Foster a safe working environment for all team members, oversee safety initiatives, and enforce compliance with policies
  • Evaluate work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to prepare for peak delivery times
  • Oversee staff involved in receiving, storing, and shipping operations
  • Train personnel to meet departmental performance objectives
  • Guarantee effective performance in designated operational areas
  • Develop and execute plans for facility modifications
  • Coordinate product distribution schedules
  • Compile reports, correspondence, and operational manuals
  • Manage distribution center activities and address customer concerns
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as necessary

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in warehouse operations
  • At least 2 years' supervisory experience in distribution, retail, or manufacturing environments
  • 1-3 years of experience operating forklifts
  • Proven experience in team management
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience in operational processes and team development is desirable
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Self-motivated with effective problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of Electrical or Low Voltage products is advantageous
