Job Purpose:

The Property Maintenance Supervisor is essential in shaping the daily experience of our residents and prospective tenants. This role demands a commitment to high-quality customer service and adherence to maintenance protocols.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the maintenance department.
  • Support the Community Manager in overseeing service staff and maintenance associates.
  • Provide ongoing training and guidance to maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and enforce maintenance policies and procedures.
  2. Maintain high standards for maintenance performance.
  3. Conduct quality control checks on maintenance tasks.
  4. Inspect the community and vacant units regularly.
  5. Coordinate preventative maintenance and manage larger projects.
  6. Respond promptly to emergency service requests.
  7. Oversee on-call schedules for maintenance staff.
  8. Ensure timely completion of unit turns and repairs.
  9. Maintain the aesthetic appeal and cleanliness of the community.
  10. Manage service requests and ensure efficient resolution.
  11. Assist in renovations and coordinate with suppliers for site work.
  12. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct property inspections.
  13. Maintain fair housing certification for maintenance staff.
  14. Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and guests.
