Aerospace Material Procurement Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Material Purchasing professional to join our team at JCO Workforce Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the acquisition process for goods and services, ensuring successful contract completion and closure.
- Formulate and execute procurement plans, addressing cost, schedule, quality, delivery, and terms and conditions.
- Ensure incorporation of planning decisions from external customers and suppliers to guarantee a reliable source of high-quality supplies and information.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with Defense Acquisition Regulation (DAR) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant discipline.
- ~8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in procurement and/or material control within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in purchasing systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with Defense Acquisition Regulation (DAR) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Strong personal computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
