Job Overview

We are in search of a dedicated individual to join our Guest Services team, responsible for attending to the personal needs of select guests. The Butler will proactively reach out to guests before their arrival, coordinating all activities and special requests to ensure a seamless experience. Upon their arrival, the Butler will deliver formal butler services and assist with managing the guest's account throughout their stay, including facilitating the checkout process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with assigned guests to provide tailored services, including pre-booking for spa, dining, and activities.
  • Manage, document, and fulfill all special requests for incoming guests.
  • Welcome guests at the entrance, escort them to their accommodations, present keys, and arrange for valet and bell services.
  • Monitor guest activities during their stay, remaining available for any special requests or urgent needs.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of all menus, services, and amenities available at the resort.
  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms prior to arrival to ensure high standards are met.
  • Present and oversee all food and beverage orders made by guests.
  • Clarify any discrepancies related to the guest's account.
  • Prepare the final bill and supporting documentation for guest review upon departure.
  • Assist guests with luggage and bid them farewell.
  • Collaborate effectively with all resort departments.
  • Interact with guests who have elevated expectations while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Support the training of new butler coordinators.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities. A high school diploma is required. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, PMS systems, spa booking systems, and CRM systems, is essential. Previous experience with these systems is advantageous but not mandatory. Fluency in English is required.

Candidates should be flexible with their availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and split shifts, to meet the needs of our guests.

Performance Metrics:

The Butler's success will be evaluated based on:

  • Feedback from guest comment cards.
  • The percentage and volume of repeat business managed by the Butler.
  • Accuracy in booking activities, spa services, dining, and lodging reservations.
