Credit Union West is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for enhancing the quality of life for our members and team members by meeting or exceeding their service expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Business Analysis (45%): Regularly meet with departments to evaluate new and evolving business needs. Apply broad and detailed knowledge of systems and vendors to make software or procedural recommendations, as well as solve problems and gain efficiencies.
- Application Maintenance and Monitoring (35%): Regularly work to resolve various software-related issues as identified by staff via a ticketing system, providing prompt and regular updates on the status of a resolution. Carefully install, implement, update, and configure non-operating system software, coordinating with staff and end users to minimize negative service impacts.
- Data Analysis and Reporting (15%): Provide data analysis on a variety of business-related data, often generated from multiple systems, tying that information together, and aggregating as needed to provide simplicity and clarity to Credit Union staff on particular business practices and products.
- Other Duties (5%): Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field obtained through a formal 4-year program at an accredited educational facility preferred or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of Information Systems experience in a financial institution preferred. Power-On experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of change management processes.
- Basic understanding of SQL Query writing.
- Live the mission, vision, and core values of the credit union.
- Able to communicate effectively and tactfully with employees and members both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and being self-reliant to better analyze and solve problems.
- Effective time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and be agile to serve members and employees.
- Maintain working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and collaborative tools (Teams and Zoom).
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of organization's Employee Handbook and policies.
- Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to: U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
