Programmer Analyst

Glendale Community College (California) is seeking a skilled Programmer Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical information systems analytical and programming duties, including analysis, development, coding, testing, and documentation of computer applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researches and evaluates current business functions with new and existing information systems, including ERP systems.
• Develops design specifications for data structures, queries, reports, workflows, interfaces, and processes.
• Designs and builds database structures, including tables and relationships between fields based on design specifications to ensure data integrity.
• Tests systems, upgrades, and patches and creates test data.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots information system and application problems.
• Writes and maintains technical documentation detailing system workflows, data structures, interfaces, processes, procedures, forms, and reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of applications programming and analysis experience.

Working Conditions:

The work is primarily performed in a standard office or other indoor environment.
