Job Summary

Conagra Brands, a leading food company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Indianapolis. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our manufacturing plant.

You will:

  • Lead quality assurance activities, including audits, training, and purchasing
  • Provide technical training to QA personnel
  • Monitor and verify the HACCP plan's CCPs
  • Conduct facility GMP and food safety inspections
  • Coordinate with production to monitor packaging lines for control of weights, metal detection, codes, and product/package integrity
  • Verify operations control systems are functional and being followed
  • Place product on hold, release, or disposition; evaluate damaged products
  • Coordinate resolution of customer complaints
  • Review lab results for completion and compliance to programs

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field
  • 3+ years related experience
  • HACCP Plan experience
  • Understanding of government regulations (FDA, USDA)
