Job Summary:

The University of California, Riverside is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team. As a Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting nematode management experiments in various settings, including the field, greenhouse, and laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct experiments to investigate nematode management strategies
  • Extract and enumerate nematodes from soil and plant samples
  • Train and supervise junior researchers and students
  • Coordinate field experiments and manage research group activities
  • Communicate effectively with center personnel and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field
  • Strong experimental design and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
