Job Title: Laboratory Professional - General Laboratory Position

About the Opportunity
KA Recruiting Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Laboratory Professional to join our team in Central Washington. This permanent, direct hire opportunity offers full-time and part-time positions with comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform accurate laboratory testing by analyzing proficiency samples according to instructions and complete tasks within the allowable time frame.
• Assume responsibility of the department as necessary in the absence of the supervisor.
• Complete required records/documentation pertaining to patient results.
• Perform stat procedures within established turnaround time targets.
• Demonstrate good judgment and independent thinking in correlating and interpreting patient results.
• Review pending logs and result logs; resolve any outstanding workload or communicate with staff relief.
• Perform quality control procedures per protocol and handle problem and/or critical laboratory specimens/test results.

Requirements
A 2 Year/Associate Degree is required. A 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred. ASCP certification (or equivalent) is preferred or the ability to obtain a license during the first 6 months of employment.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
