Laboratory Professional

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Professional to join our team in Central Washington. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive compensation package.
Job Summary:
The Medical Laboratory Technician will perform accurate and timely laboratory testing by analyzing proficiency testing samples according to instructions and complete within the allowable time frame. They will also assume responsibility of the department as appropriate in the absence of the supervisor, complete all required records/documentation pertaining to patient results, and perform stat procedures within established turnaround time targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing with high accuracy and efficiency
- Assume leadership role in the department as needed
- Complete documentation and records accurately
- Meet turnaround time targets for stat procedures
- Use good judgment and independent thinking in interpreting patient results
Requirements:
- A 2-Year Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Preferred: 4-Year Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field
- ASCP certification (or equivalent) preferred; ability to obtain license within 6 months of employment
