Job Description

LMI is seeking a seasoned logistics professional to join our team as a Senior Logistics Consultant. As a key member of our Transportation Directorate, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of transportation policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Transportation Directorate in the development and implementation of transportation policies and programs.
  • Provide expertise in logistics and transportation to support the safe and secure movement of arms, ammunition, and explosives.
  • Coordinate and communicate DoD installation access requirements for commercial carriers.
  • Provide policy oversight of national surface transportation readiness programs.
  • Interface with external stakeholders, including the Joint Staff and USTRANSCOM, to ensure DoD's Strategic Transportation policy and programs remain strong and viable.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree required.
  • 15 or more years' work experience within DoD.
  • Previous experience at USTRANSCOM or its Component Commands; or Service Headquarters Logistics Staff.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Active security clearance at the TOP SECRET level or the ability to attain.
