Role Summary

As the Operations Director, you will ensure a consistent and reliable experience for both our consumers and chefs.

We seek a skilled Operations Director to enhance the growth of our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking abilities while effectively managing daily operational execution.

You will oversee and lead various teams across our facilities, including kitchen operations, food safety, fulfillment, logistics, warehouse management, and facility upkeep, ensuring their success. This role requires a long-term perspective, fostering positive daily practices with a focus on scalability, cost-efficiency, and internal kindness. Additionally, you will elevate operational standards, streamline processes, and establish guidelines to ensure success across our kitchens.

Success in this position will be evaluated based on customer satisfaction and operational profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee all facility operations to meet business objectives.
  • Conduct analyses to identify strengths, weaknesses, competitive pressures, and opportunities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through best practices.
  • Review P&L statements to pinpoint investment opportunities, costs, and potential revenue streams.
  • Monitor production processes and scheduling systems organization-wide.
  • Assist operations in meeting production targets, including hands-on involvement in Process, Packaging, and Material Management.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience to enhance delivery processes and address exceptions and requests.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Expansion, and Marketing teams to develop and implement strategic projects that align with revenue goals.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in senior leadership roles within manufacturing or the food sector.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, pricing strategies, marketplaces, or supply-demand economics.
  • A mindset focused on streamlining: automate, reduce, and simplify; committed to continuous improvement.
  • Data-driven, analytical problem solver, adept at addressing urgent challenges with innovative solutions and effective communication.
  • Experience in leading teams towards a common goal; a personable leader who listens and fosters human connection.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills; proven ability to manage multiple critical tasks and meet strict deadlines.
