- Oversees and collaborates with carpentry teams on assigned tasks.
- Assists in the development of work schedules, assesses workforce requirements, material specifications, and training needs for the crew.
- Demonstrates proficiency in performing essential job functions.
- Organizes, coordinates, and assigns tasks to the crew effectively.
- Communicates with crane operators for precise movements.
- Guides the placement of concrete accurately.
- Manages situations involving vibration and equipment.
- Conducts inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- May work in challenging weather conditions, facing extreme temperatures, noise, and dust typical of construction sites.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 90 pounds with assistance.
- Frequent activities include walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
- Regular use of hand tools, including power tools, saws, hammers, and fasteners.
- Preference for candidates with at least three years of experience in formwork or concrete construction with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance standards.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
