Disaster Response Coordinator Lead

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Mass Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our disaster response team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regionwide mass care plans to ensure essential disaster services are available and delivered in a seamless fashion.
You will work closely with volunteers and other stakeholders to prepare communities for disasters, respond to emergencies, and provide support to those affected by disasters.

Responsibilities- Develop and implement regionwide mass care plans to ensure essential disaster services are available and delivered in a seamless fashion.
- Work closely with volunteers and other stakeholders to prepare communities for disasters, respond to emergencies, and provide support to those affected by disasters.
- Lead and manage a team of disaster response professionals to ensure effective delivery of disaster services.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop and implement disaster response strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to local chapters and partners on disaster response and recovery efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in disaster response, management, or a related field.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proven record of accomplishment of collaboration with diverse groups and individuals.
The salary range for this position is $75,270 - $81,893 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
