Job Title: Private Wealth Analyst

Role Overview

A Private Wealth Analyst is a client relationship management and financial planning analysis position at DJM Financial. They are responsible for managing existing client relationships, either working independently or in collaboration with a more experienced advisor when needed, in addition to supporting the financial planning process for our advisors.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management and Retention

Co-manage a book of 50 segmented firm clients with a 97%+ retention rate through the implementation of financial planning, investment management, and risk-based strategies aligned with our planning philosophies.

Attend approximately 3+ client meetings per week with the primary advisor, ensuring investment and insurance compliance requirements are implemented and followed.

Handle inbound email and phone communications from clients, responding directly or delegating to the appropriate department as needed.

Client Meeting Preparation

Process factfinder case notes, assist with gathering prospect/client financial information, and prepare financial plans and recommendations tailored to each client's needs.

Oversee the design, building, and implementation of all financial plans, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely execution.

Prepare investment advisory annual review information, modify financial plans and investment/advisory proposals, and create investment policy statements, needs-based analyses, or financial plans.

Case Management & Client Onboarding

Process planning case notes, generate opportunities, next activities, and tasks for DJM team members, and serve as the primary point-of-contact for clients onboarding.

Maintain the Opportunities dashboard to ensure all have appropriate follow-ups and are moving through the implementation cycle efficiently.

Monitor and follow up on asset transfers and initial and subsequent funding of investment advisory accounts.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, financial planning credential (CFP, CPWA, ChFC, etc.), and relevant planning software experience.

Series 7 & 63 investment licenses are also required, along with 5+ years of experience in the industry, specifically in financial planning with high net worth clients.

Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and financial planning software are essential.

Ability to adapt to changing environments, lead change, and identify and lead improvements in business processes and best practices is also required.
