**Job Summary**
Burns & McDonnell is actively recruiting Senior Architects to lead our Mission Critical / Commercial / Higher Ed Studio in our well-established Denver office. This position offers unique opportunities for both personal and professional growth by offering a wide range of project responsibilities and team leadership roles.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide project team leadership and coordination for finished plans, specifications, and material selections; ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentation.
- Mentor and lead teams in the production of accurate technical and contract documentation for project construction.
- Mentor and lead construction administration duties including: bid review and support, site visits, addressing technical issues, and improving quality during construction.
- Work with government and regulatory agencies to achieve overall project schedule and objectives.
- Manage, mentor and recruit talent including resources to produce 3D software renderings and critical presentations.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited program is required.
- 8 years of architectural experience, consulting preferred.
- Registered Architect preferred.
- Expert knowledge in standard architectural techniques and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Expert computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
- Expert computer skills (e.g. BIM (Revit), Adobe Suites, and 3D rendering programs).
- Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Expert attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with leading the design for large projects and delegating work tasks to team members. Ability to lead execution of work and resolve issues in a team environment.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed architectural documents and specifications.
- Ability to travel.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
The expected compensation range for this position is $120,000-$175,000. Our extensive benefits package takes care of you so that you can focus on doing great work.
