Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist assists in performing diagnostic procedures on patients with cardiac and vascular dysfunctions. Utilizing various ultrasound modalities, the specialist produces high-quality imaging and works closely with cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in theoretical concepts and clinical skills, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound modalities
  • Produce high-quality imaging and reports
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Apply theoretical concepts to clinical practice
  • Continuously expand knowledge base and clinical skills
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree from a two-year accredited program
  • Minimum one year echocardiography or vascular ultrasound experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
  • Registration through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
