We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Admissions Recruiter to join our team at Harper College. As a key member of our Admission Outreach department, you will play a critical role in promoting our academic programs and opportunities to future students, high school counselors, and guardians/parents.
Key Responsibilities- Meet recruitment objectives and assist in the enrollment goals as established by Harper College, the Director of Student Recruitment and Outreach, and the Admissions Manager.
- Integrate and explain policies and procedures of all areas of enrollment services and other closely related areas to all new students.
- Work with students throughout the enrollment process and review information regarding career opportunities, program of study, placement, orientation, and financial assistance.
- Assist students in understanding their financial obligations and educate them on how Harper College, federal, state, and third-party resources can provide assistance.
- Collaborate closely with key Harper College departments, including Academic Affairs, Admissions Processing, Counseling, One Stop, and Financial Aid, to ensure effective student enrollment matriculation.
- Participate and attend all scheduled events, providing post-information session reports within 24 hours of event completion.
- Review and provide feedback to the Admissions Manager and Marketing Services on all pertinent promotional material and presentations.
- Provide critical summary reports on all activities, including student inquiries, applications, information meetings, and event results.
- Serve on appropriate College committees.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in educational recruiting or sales, with a proven track record of meeting recruitment objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail essential.
- Strong presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Bilingual preferred.
