Mattel is on the lookout for a Senior Associate specializing in Internal Communications within its Global Supply Chain division. This pivotal role is designed to enhance internal communication and improve employee engagement across the Global Supply Chain (GSC) sector.
Reporting Structure:
This position will report directly to the Senior Director, GSC Chief of Staff and DTC Implementation, while also maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Associate Manager of Internal Communications.

The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who is dedicated to fostering an inspiring and engaging employee experience at Mattel. You are comfortable navigating complex projects, asking insightful questions, and challenging existing processes. Your confidence allows you to provide strategic communication and employee experience support to leadership. You are self-driven and continuously seek innovative solutions to enhance efficiency. Your understanding of GSC communications is coupled with a sense of urgency and decisiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a unified and motivating experience for GSC employees that integrates all functions (Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, etc.);
- Execute compelling communication campaigns that reflect the Mattel brand across various platforms, including email, video, newsletters, digital signage, and internal social networks;
- Manage the flow of communications throughout the GSC organization;
- Organize a global GSC Town Hall or fireside chat series, create presentation materials, and gather actionable feedback;
- Enhance engagement through social media channels, including internal platforms;
- Establish and oversee a collaborative communication hub, such as SharePoint, for the GSC team;
- Utilize tools like WeChat and WorkStep to connect with frontline employees;
- Attend GSC offsite events and team meetings to gather insights;
- Support key employee experience initiatives within the GSC team, focusing on wellness and flexibility;
- Potentially engage in additional projects in collaboration with Distribution Centers and Manufacturing Plants.
