We are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team at Lifespace Communities. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing medication management services under the direction of licensed nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and administer medications to residents, following physician orders and established protocols.
- Record and document all medication, treatment, and care provided for residents.
- Take and record vital signs of residents, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Prepare monthly summaries and take off physician orders as needed.
- Respond to resident calls and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some directly related work experience preferred.
- Must have and maintain medication aide licensure per state requirements.
