The University of Missouri School of Medicine is in search of a proactive individual to enhance the Division of Acute Care Surgery. The Frank L. Mitchell Jr., MD Trauma Center at MU Healthcare is recognized as a state-designated and ACS verified Level I trauma center, catering primarily to a rural patient demographic. This Division has established a legacy of excellence in delivering care for trauma, elective procedures, and urgent general surgery, along with surgical critical care in a specialized Trauma-Surgical ICU and management of burn/thermal injuries.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Completion of an accredited surgical critical care fellowship
- Dedication to the ongoing development and enhancement of clinical services and educational initiatives
Candidates will be assessed based on their qualifications in surgical critical care or relevant clinical experience.
Priority consideration will be given to candidates from diverse backgrounds.
