Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at ConsultNet. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for participating in all aspects of structural project design, detail engineering, and providing technical support during construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop structural systems for industrial facilities, including concrete foundations and flatwork, building design, and heavy structural steel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets industry standards and codes (ASCE, AISC, and ACI).
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design calculations, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide technical support during construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Design Technology, specializing in Structural design or similar degree.
  • 5-15+ years of experience in heavy industry, including experience with AutoCAD and Revit or other 3D software.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes, including ASCE, AISC, and ACI.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
