About the Position

We are seeking a Patient Accounts Representative to join our team at Piedmont Healthcare PA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient accounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collection of payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient accounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collection of payments.
  • Work closely with the patient and healthcare provider to obtain necessary information and documentation for claims processing.
  • Monitor and follow up on account status, resolving any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity, including documentation and follow-up correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely payment of accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, healthcare administration, or finance).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in patient accounts or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and ICD-10 coding.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range:$60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
