Job Description
This is an executive-level assistant role that will support the Director of Behavioral Health in leading the division effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating critical communication and coordination, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the success of DBH initiatives. The role requires organizational and problem-solving skills to maintain the division's focus on its mission to improve behavioral health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate communication between the Director and internal or external stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare organizations, community leaders, and the public.
- Ensure sensitive communications are handled with care and discretion.
- Manage the Director's schedule, organize high-stakes meetings, and coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings, program reviews, and external collaborations.
- Assist in organizing mental health awareness campaigns, ensuring compliance with public health policies, and overseeing grant applications and reports.
- Help manage data and reports to assess needs, measure outcomes, and inform policy decisions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by keeping up-to-date with changing laws and guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, accounting, or any discipline related to the work assigned.
- One year of experience in administrative, business management, or technical support work, including collecting and interpreting statistical, financial, program, or administrative data;
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OnBase, and web conferencing technology such as Zoom and WebEx.
- Preference given to work experience connected to the behavioral health field in business management, health administration, social work, or behavioral health-related coursework.
