Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the State of Georgia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct care to patients in a nursing facility or home health care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nursing staff in assessing patients' physical and mental conditions according to policies and procedures.
- Complete required documentation in patient and unit records.
- Follow hospital/departmental procedures regarding infection control and maintain certification.
- Perform basic nursing procedures, such as taking vital signs, weight, and specimens according to the treatment plan.
- Provide training and/or direction to patients in activities of daily living to promote increased independence.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- One year of experience at the lower level Nursing Assistant 1 (HCS050) or position equivalent.
Working for the State of Georgia
