Key Responsibilities

  • Skin Care Services
    • Perform a range of skin care services, including facials, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion, within established service protocols and time allotments.
    • Escort clients to and from the Relaxation Room, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience.
    • Inform reception of any in-service alterations, such as service additions or upgrades, to ensure accurate billing and client satisfaction.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance
    • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all treatment rooms, equipment, and tools.
    • Restock and maintain supplies in treatment rooms during each shift to ensure a smooth and efficient service delivery.
    • Follow and perform all sterilization routines, adhering to company protocols and industry standards.
    • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Relaxation Room and prep rooms, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients.
  • Revenue Generation and Communication
    • Recommend skin care treatment add-ons and services to clients, explaining the benefits and purpose of each service and product.
    • Develop and suggest new skin care treatment services and programs, promoting spa programs and services to enhance member participation.
    • Deliver exceptional service experiences to members, guests, and colleagues, with a focus on retaining clients for repeat business.
    • Communicate effectively with reception staff, keeping them informed of your whereabouts during your shift, and follow up as necessary to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Participate actively in required events, programs, meetings, and trainings, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
    • Be flexible with your work schedule, as the job may require day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the Relaxation Room and stock levels of items, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients.
    • Assist with laundry duties, contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the spa.

Requirements

  • A current California Board of Cosmetology License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of skin care products and services, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
