Job Title: Staff EMI/EMC Engineer

As a Staff EMI/EMC Engineer at ZT Systems, you will be part of a team responsible for developing and enhancing the systems we produce. This role requires a strong background in Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility (EMI/EMC) and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with customers to review requirements and ensure compliance with EMI and EMC standards.
  • Lead a team on location to execute testing programs and validate customer equipment.
  • Determine methods and layouts for compliance to EMC design standards.
  • Develop and manage EMI/EMC test data to assist in root cause and corrective actions.
  • Communicate periodic status and known risks to projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Compliance Engineer, EMI Engineer, EMC Engineer, or related title preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) theory, signal integrity, and power quality.
  • Expert skills in use of Spectrum Analyzers, EMI receivers, signal generators, RF power meters, RF amplifiers, antennas, etc.
  • Ability to lead a team of technicians.
