Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility (EMI/EMC) Engineer to join our team at ZT Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our systems to meet the highest standards of EMI/EMC compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to review and ensure compliance with EMI and EMC standards for their products.
  • Lead a team on location to execute testing programs and determine methods and layouts for compliance to EMC design standards.
  • Develop and manage EMI/EMC test data to assist in root cause and corrective actions.
  • Communicate periodic status and known risks with proposed solutions on projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in EMI/EMC engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, compliance engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of EMI, EMC theory, signal integrity, and power quality.
  • Expert skills in use of Spectrum Analyzers, EMI receivers, signal generators, RF power meters, RF amplifiers, antennas, etc.
  • Proven success in troubleshooting EMI/EMC issues in a lab environment.
