Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Management System Specialist to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

">About the Role

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful maintenance and enhancement of our biospecimen tracking system, OpenSpecimen, and the Clinical Trials Management System, OnCore.

">Responsibilities
  1. Develop detailed tasks by analyzing project scope and milestones for projects in order to ensure timely delivery according to software lifecycle standards.
  2. Document code and associated processes by adhering to development methodologies, adding code comments and appropriate documentation to various knowledge-base system(s) to simplify code maintenance and to improve support.
  3. Monitor changes and resolve problems by responding to issues as they occur, reviewing all processing and output of the newly implemented solution, and proactively ensuring the solution works successfully in order to satisfy customer requirements.
">Requirements
  • Two years college coursework or trade school required. Additional experience may be substituted for education.
  • One year of related work experience with computer systems and applications.
