Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Administrator to join our team at Ascend Nonprofit Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including client, stakeholder, intern, and volunteer records, as well as program and agency records in our databases.
  • Grant Administration: Analyze incoming invoices and other liabilities to ensure proper coding to applicable grants and programs, and monitor budgets for all government and foundation grants.
  • Stewardship: Increase awareness of victimization, prevention, and available resources through public speaking and media requests, and participate in community meetings and committees as assigned by supervisor.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed of best practices, developments, and trends in the area of trauma and victimization, and maintain and develop skills and knowledge by attending training and ensuring licensure and certifications are up to date as needed for the job.
Requirements
  • Education and/or Work Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience and proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Physical Requirements: Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and the ability to perform activities that require close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
