Position Overview

The Overnight Hotel Auditor / Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for welcoming all hotel guests with a courteous and professional demeanor. This role involves managing the guest check-in process efficiently while performing nightly audit tasks consistently. Responsibilities may vary by location based on specific client needs and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and finalize all Night Audit documentation.
  • Oversee front desk operations during the overnight shift (typically 11 PM to 7 AM) and other scheduled shifts.
  • Main duties include registering guests, processing reservations, generating daily reports, balancing financial transactions, and conducting security inspections.

Qualifications

o Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality or a related field is required.
o High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.
o Coursework in a related discipline is advantageous.
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.
o Familiarity with Accounting Principles is required.
o Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns and manage emergency situations effectively.
o Clear communication skills to convey information and ideas.
o Quick and accurate decision-making abilities in evaluating various options.
o Proficiency in handling workplace challenges, including anticipating and resolving issues as they arise.
o Competence in working with financial data and performing basic arithmetic functions.
o Capability to thrive in a self-directed work environment.
o Effective listening skills to understand and clarify concerns raised by guests and colleagues.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
