Government Contract Manager

LAUNCHTECH seeks an experienced Government Contract Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing government contracts and programs in both public and private sectors, ensuring exceptional program performance and contributing to company growth. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in program management, government contracts, and business development, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include developing program strategies, facilitating project execution, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams.
The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Comprehensive benefits, such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off, are also offered. Additional compensation may be provided based on performance and contributions to the company.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves:
- Developing program strategies by identifying and analyzing program requirements and needs.
- Facilitating the execution of multiple concurrent projects.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, CORs, contracting officers, subcontractors, project managers, and employees.
- Leading program kickoff meetings to define expectations, deliverables, and timelines for new contracts.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least 10+ years of experience in program and project management, overseeing government contracts. Proven expertise in full lifecycle government contract management, including modifications, compliance, and execution, is essential. A Top Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is required. Experience participating in solicitation responses (RFI/RFP) is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should possess strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to develop program strategies, mitigate risks, and execute complex projects efficiently.
