Role Overview

The Mechanical Process Engineer Lead (Senior Mechanical Engineer Specialist) will play a crucial role in designing, building, troubleshooting, and operating EnergyX pilot and demo projects and lithium separation technology scale-up projects.

This position requires a high level of technical expertise and ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and vendors.

Responsibilities:
  • Design mechanical engineering designs on DLE projects, including equipment sizing and configuration, material selection, multiphase flow system, P&ID development, equipment layout, equipment specifications, and hydraulic calculations.
  • Collaborate with other engineers on project development and integrations.
  • Develop data sheets for equipment and values.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in Chemical/Mineral Industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
  • Previous experience with Engineering companies and EPC firms.
  • Experience with CAD and SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of different MOC for corrosive environments and design/built codes (ASME, DIN-EN).
