About the Role

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams on projects in various sectors, including Higher Education, Science & Technology, Government, Healthcare and Mixed-Use projects. As a senior engineer, you will have extensive knowledge of designing mechanical systems and ensuring their proper implementation.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing detailed designs for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and piping systems
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
* Delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines and budgets
* Providing guidance and support to junior engineers and project team members
* Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

To succeed in this role, you should possess:
* A professional degree in engineering from a recognized institution
* A valid P.E. license
* At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on HVAC system design
* Strong understanding of mechanical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing and piping systems
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Familiarity with BIM and other relevant software tools
* Ability to manage project budgets and timelines effectively

Estimated Salary: $130,000 per year, depending on experience.
