Position Overview:

APTIM is in search of a skilled On-Site Project Support Coordinator to assist with the Decommissioning, Dismantling, and Disposal of a former nuclear reactor project. This role will be stationed at the project site and will directly report to the Site Manager, providing essential support to various Site Lead roles. Responsibilities will encompass maintaining project documentation and safety records, facilitating project procurement and requisitions, organizing meetings and conference calls, and documenting meeting minutes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and be familiar with electronic document management systems such as SharePoint. Strong interpersonal abilities are crucial, including the capacity to communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally, with all project stakeholders, including client representatives, regulators, and APTIM colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate with moderate supervision; responsible for individual outcomes and team impact.
  • Manage electronic and physical filing systems and records.
  • Compile and develop weekly reports.
  • Coordinate schedules and maintain calendars for on-site management personnel.
  • Communicate and coordinate with vendors regarding project supplies and invoicing.
  • Welcome and escort visitors.
  • Record messages and meeting minutes.
  • Assist in the distribution of correspondence and documents among project team members.
  • Ensure that any safety incidents are reported and managed according to company and client protocols.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Possesses a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • High School diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in a field environment at construction or demolition sites is preferred.
