About the Role

i.g. Burton & Company, Inc is seeking an experienced Accounting Associate to join our busy accounting office. This is a clerical, full-time, Monday-Friday position. If you're looking for your next challenge, i.g. Burton is an ideal place to grow.

Responsibilities
  • Process accounts receivable transactions and manage collection efforts
  • Schedule reconciliation and clean up, audit deal paperwork for compliance, and handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Provide support for internal and external audits, prepare cash receipts for processing, and perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications
  • Prior experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to analyze large sets of data
