Position Overview:
As a Patient Access Coordinator I at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and their families.
Expected Starting Salary Range: $17 – 18/hr
Work Schedule: Fulltime, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients, families, and staff in the accurate completion of registration, admissions, and scheduling processes.
- Address and resolve inquiries and issues in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Support the Revenue Cycle and Health Information Management by ensuring all necessary data and documentation are accurately collected and entered.
- Uphold patient safety by verifying patient identities and identifying special needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard personal medical and financial information at all times.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards by completing and authenticating all required documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience necessary.
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
