Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team at Soliant. The successful candidate will provide high-quality speech and language services to students, working in collaboration with educators and parents to enhance student learning and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations

Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students, utilizing standardized tests and clinical observations to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.

Develop and Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement tailored IEPs that address the unique needs of each student, ensuring that speech and language goals are aligned with academic and functional objectives.

Provide Direct Therapy Services

Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and adapting interventions to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams

Work effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and success, participating in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities to enhance collaboration and communication.

Maintain Accurate Records

Maintain detailed records of student assessments, progress, and therapy sessions, utilizing electronic health records and other tools to ensure accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, with a strong foundation in communication disorders, assessment, and intervention.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.

Valid Pennsylvania State License

Hold a valid Pennsylvania state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.

Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification

Hold Pennsylvania Department of Education certification as an Educational Specialist Speech and Language Pathologist, demonstrating expertise in educational settings.

Experience in a School Setting

Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required, as we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.

  • Passing Scores on Relevant Praxis Exams
