Job Title: Oral Surgery Assistant

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is pleased to be working with our client in Greenville, SC to hire an on-site Oral Surgery Assistants for their facility.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team. As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing for all procedures, assisting during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile field during procedures, and performing other procedures as directed.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare for all procedures, including setting up equipment and materials.
  • Assist during surgical procedures, including handing instruments to the surgeon and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Maintain a sterile field during procedures, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
  • Perform other procedures as directed, including capturing radiographs, taking and pouring dental impressions, capturing intraoral digital scans, removing surgical splints, fitting splints, removing sutures, placing dry socket packs, and collecting and entering comprehensive and precise information into the EMR.
  • Review post-op instructions with patients and provide patient escorts.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Completion of a limited Dental Assisting program or 1-2 years of experience in general dentistry or oral surgery practice.
  • Current BLS/CPR Certification.
  • X-Ray Certification.
