About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dermatology team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate skin conditions of patients and assess their medical history
- Keep accurate records of patients' dermatological symptoms and analyze information regarding skin health
- Inform patients about available treatments and educate them on preventive skin care
- Conduct non-intrusive medical surgeries and screen patients and employees daily upon entry
Requirements:
- Customer service experience required
- Must be computer literate and have CPR certification or be able to obtain it within 4 weeks of employment
- Ability to learn and understand medical terminology and vital signs
- At least one year of Dermatology experience preferred, with a MA certificate of completion/diploma from a medical vocational program
