Job Overview

The Case Manager will provide critical support services to asylum seekers and their families, helping them to resettle and thrive in their new community.

This role requires a high level of cultural competence, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site services to families, including assistance with relocation and support with daily needs.
  • Work with individuals and families to address challenges such as economic hardship, mental health issues, and child welfare concerns.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of the program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, human services, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working with youth and families, particularly those from immigrant and refugee backgrounds.
  • Shelter and residential experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with strong conversation and writing skills.
