We are an agency-style association management firm dedicated to assisting national and local trade associations, professional societies, and other member organizations in fostering community and achieving their objectives. Our work environment is both productive and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

As a Marketing and Project Coordinator, you will collaborate with various team members to facilitate multiple projects across our diverse clientele. Your contributions will play a vital role in meeting our clients' distinct goals, which include enhancing member engagement, boosting event participation, and providing education on critical industry topics. Each day will present new challenges, allowing you to utilize a wide range of skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a proactive marketing professional eager to showcase their talents and acquire new skills. If you feel underappreciated in your current role and seek a workplace that values your input, creative problem-solving abilities, and innovative ideas, this position is for you. You are an independent self-starter who flourishes in a supportive, collaborative, and enjoyable work environment.

Company Culture

Our workplace is characterized by high energy, a fast-paced atmosphere, and a sense of humor. At TMG, we embrace a no-blame culture, focusing on improvement and task completion. We foster a strong team dynamic based on our core values. We encourage an environment where team members are open to learning, growth, and constructive feedback. We manage multiple projects for a variety of member-driven organizations simultaneously, which may lead to shifting priorities. Flexibility, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential.

We are committed to community service, allowing each team member to volunteer up to eight hours per month during work hours. Additionally, we are recognized as a Great Place to Work, which reflects our positive environment.

Work Schedule

We maintain traditional office hours and emphasize a strong in-person office culture to enhance team collaboration. To ensure effective onboarding and integration, all new team members are required to work in-office for the initial 90 days. After this period, based on performance and job responsibilities, there may be opportunities for remote work 1-2 days per week at the discretion of your manager.

Job Duties

This position is ideal for a resourceful, creative professional eager to learn and embrace new challenges while growing with our organization.

  • Coordinate and manage multiple projects from inception to completion, providing regular updates to management.
  • Create and design marketing materials using various software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Provide writing support for marketing materials, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and messaging.
  • Act as a project manager and primary contact for various projects, programs, and meetings.
  • Develop social media graphics, conference materials, and digital/printed newsletters, ensuring adherence to clients' branding standards.
  • Update and maintain company and client websites with content provided by account and program managers, assessing user experience and implementing necessary improvements.
  • Effectively manage tasks by transitioning smoothly between clients while prioritizing key responsibilities.
  • Provide general support to management and contribute as a team player by assisting wherever needed.
Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this role ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, and more.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or a related field.
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, or similar tools is preferred.
