About the Role

CEVA Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various manual labor functions, including picking inventory, counting cargo, and loading goods, using manual equipment such as hand trucks or pallet jacks.
  • Receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within assigned areas.
  • Prepare and assemble orders, move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
  • Operate a forklift once certified and required.
  • Complete or verify appropriate forms, documents, labels, and other information to ensure the accuracy of inventory and monitor material and successful receiving and/or delivery of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain a safe and effective work environment.
  • Assist with identifying potential operational or service concerns and notify appropriate coworkers and assist with resolving.
  • Perform various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, cleaning docks, staging, packing, racking, and related storage areas.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Forklift Certification typically required in most operations within 3 to 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents.
  • Ability to perform in a team environment.
  • Capable of operating hand and power tools and performing manual tasks.
  • Follows safety policies and procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in operating a computer.
