**Job Summary**

Thompson First Group is seeking a skilled Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team in a temporary to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating a seated forklift, maneuvering loads of all sizes, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate a seated forklift safely and efficiently, navigating through a warehouse setting
  • Manage and move materials, products, and equipment with precision and accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Perform basic computer tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Read and interpret tape measures to ensure accurate measurements

**Requirements:**

  • At least 1 year of experience operating a seated forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
  • Ability to work a 10-hour physical shift with regular breaks
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting with knowledge of inventory management
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
