We are currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team. This role is essential in delivering professional nursing care and assumes responsibility for a designated group of patients during specific timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing assessments focusing on the physiological, psychological, and cognitive status of patients.
- Develop and implement a goal-oriented care plan based on nursing diagnoses and expected patient outcomes.
- Deliver care in a knowledgeable and consistent manner, ensuring continuity and quality.
- Prioritize patient care based on essential needs and available resources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided and monitor patient progress towards established outcomes.
- Identify and address the learning needs of patients and their significant others.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Adhere to all compliance responsibilities related to the nursing position.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Connecticut.
- Experience in Behavioral Health is required.
- Availability for 24 control hours with shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, including alternate weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Nursing certification and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) are desirable.
Work Environment:
This position is part-time and involves working in a dynamic healthcare setting focused on psychiatric care.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is competitive, reflecting the skills and experience of the candidate.
